Where are all the European Turnips! I’ve got three shawarmas that were all okay at best on a Europe trip. I’ve made a new rule: no pickle or no turnip means I have to do a 180. It’s stopped me from buying countless shawarmas so far because THERE ARE NO TURNIPS OR PICKLES. Surely they could import or grow them right? Needless to say this is only true for Netherlands, Scandinavia, and Germany thus far. I apologize Europe if I’m the south you have shawarma game. So far Europe has DISAPPOINTED me.

I found the same thing in New York even, Toronto is a unique shawarma spot maybe. We need to look into how turnips are perceived by the creators of shawarma
Munich may be a hot spot they have turnips, pickles, and huge spits. I’ve yet to try but apologies to Europe as a whole and Munich specifically are in order. Seems like Northern Europe need to figure it out specifically.
