Going quite worldwide with this rating. Haarlem is pretty small and the farmers market is like 10 shops with a beautiful church bell in the background. The worker was super friendly, above and beyond and he speaks at least 3 languages. The meal itself was 9 euros and I wouldn’t call it a shawarma, if only it had pickles and turnips, or better sauce. The wrap fell short and had a bland problem, and the value was pretty mid. Wrap filled us up for an early lunch. Decided to edit value. The reasoning is everything is super expensive in Europe, especially Amsterdam and I treated this like a $9 CAD shawarma instead of a 9 Euro shawarma because thats how the market acts out here.
